Game Day Recipe Round-Up! 01/30/2019 I have a confession to make. I hate football. There, I said it. In fact, I think most sports are nothing but a big yawn fest. I definitely think that the best part of enjoying a big game is the food! I mean, who even cares what the score is, pass me some of those wings! Am I right? That being said I understand that some people live for this stuff and with the biggest game day of the year right around the corner I decided to do a big, giant round-up of all my recipes that are perfect for

Cinnamon-Raisin “Porridge” 12/04/2018 Today I’m sharing another AIP-compliant recipe with you guys. That means that this dish is free of grains, dairy, eggs, nightshades, legumes, and nuts and seeds. Breakfast can often be the trickiest meal of the day when following the AIP. That’s why I really love creating a dish like this that I can make ahead and eat from for a few days. It takes the guesswork out of it! This recipe was born out of my desire to develop another grain-free “porridge” option for breakfast that would be warm

Spiced Molasses Cookies 11/15/2018 I am SO excited to be sharing this recipe today. For the last 2 months I have been working on this recipe nearly every single week and I finally got it nailed down. (Don’t worry- no one in my family minded eating the failed attempts!) Molasses cookies have always been one of my favorites, but since going grain and dairy-free and especially since following the Autoimmune Protocol* (or AIP) cookies really haven’t been in my rotation. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but everyone deserves to

Mofongo 11/12/2018 I am so excited to finally share this recipe that I have been working on for the past few months. It’s debated whether Mofongo is originally a Dominican or Puerto Rican dish, but one thing is for sure, it’s downright delicious. My recipe tends to favor the Dominican version, since this is the only version that I have eaten before. I had it earlier this year at a Dominican restaurant and it was so good that I knew I had to recreate it at home. It’s made by mashing fried plantains with garlic
